More Than Half of All Registered Voters Went to the Polls by 11AM

PHNOM PENH: The number of people who went to vote for the 5th Mandate Commune / District Council Election 2022 by 11 am this morning was nearly 5.2 million, which is more than 56% of all registered voters.

This is according to a report published by the National Election Committee (NEC) at afternoon on 5 June 2022.

The 5th Commune / District Council Election is being held on 5 June, with 17 political parties taking part in a total. The parties are competing for 11,622 Commune / District Council seats nationwide, from 1,652 communes and districts, and with more than 9.2 million registered voters.
